How many bird species have been recorded in Sri Lanka?

There is about 450 bird species, recorded in Sri Lanka, from time to time, during a long period. (See List of birds of Sri Lanka on Wikipedia.) It does not necessarily mean that all these birds are still there or can be seen in the country. These 450 birds includes resident birds (which includes the 33 endemics), migrant birds and vagrants.
